My Journey To You

My own path began with a Diploma in Community Services, driven by a passionate sense of calling to help others and really make a difference. I started my current working life as a case worker and court support officer at Melbourne's women's prison, working directly with vulnerable women who were navigating the justice system. My attention was focused on helping women with goal setting, learning practical skills, and enabling a better-supported return into the community.

During the covid pandemic, I transitioned into a more community focused and support worker role, where I found an increasing interest in counselling and deeper individual support. This prompted me to continue my studies with the completion of a Diploma, followed by specialist training and certifications in somatic practices. This has enabled me to incorporate body based interventions into my client work. 🦋

I'll be honest… I was born with a nervous system that's always lagged behind. The majority of my life, that's meant having to cope with constant symptoms and illnesses that no doctor, specialist, naturopath, or healer could ever fully diagnose or repair and trust me, myself and my very frustrated parents tried it all… The meds, treatments, even 4 different surgeries. Nothing ever brought sustained relief. I’d think we found the root cause just for another symptom or illness to appear. Eventually I was diagnosed with Postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome, a disorder of the autonomic nervous system that was caused by hyper mobility spectrum disorder. Which, on top of an already confirmed Crohns disease and autism diagnosis, wasn’t ideal.

But out of all that lengthy, maddening searching emerged something I never could have imagined: somatic therapy. For the first time, I was able to experience what it was like to feel grounded, regulated, and actually well in my body. It changed everything — and that's why I do this work today.

It started with somatic movement and yoga, then breathwork, and finally cold immersion therapy. All of them opened doors, one by another, and led me deeper into studying the nervous system, trauma, illness, and the amazing mind-body connection.

Years down the line, I'm a certified somatic practitioner! and I still have my own somatic therapist. Because I know this work. I've felt its impact. And now, I'm here to assist others in reconnecting with themselves, soothing their systems, and discovering what healing truly feels like. 🌱

My approach to Somatic Therapy

My approach is integrative, transpersonal, holistic, and of course, somatic. I use mind and body to create deep healing and personal change. Rather than treating mostly symptoms, I help you see the bigger picture of your life, uncovering your patterns, talents, and potential to flourish.

By combining an array of therapeutic approaches like classical walk and talk therapy (indoor and outdoor), body centred (somatic) techniques, mindfulness, creative expression, and transpersonal perspectives, we collaborate and create the way that works for you. This is about us honouring your unique experience, uniting psychological insight with the brilliance of the body and the more profound context of human relatedness.

My approach isn't just about problem solving and figuring out how to overcome challenges and release trauma from the body, it's also about joy, resilience, and a sense of purpose. If you're navigating life's challenges, seeking profound self awareness, or craving access to your inner ancient wisdom, I offer a caring and compassionate space where you can heal, grow, and thrive.

Values

🌿 Compassion

Real healing begins with us feeling seen and safe. I hold space with care, presence, and deep empathy, creating a supportive environment where you can show up just as you are. No fixing, no forcing, just witnessing and honouring your lived experience.

🌀 Embodiment

Real transformation happens when we bring the mind and body into harmony. I guide you to reconnect with your body’s ancient wisdom, so you can feel more grounded, present, and aligned in your daily life. The goal is to not just think differently, but live differently.

✨ Wholeness

We are not broken. It’s my belief that every part of us (even the messy or painful ones) holds meaning and value. Together, we can explore those parts with curiosity and care, helping you return to a sense of wholeness.
